Decorative boxes can be purchased in bulk or created by purchasing small gift boxes at the craft store. Fill decorative boxes with wax paper and tissue paper and load them up with assorted cookies and brownies. Try to find assortments that work for just about everyone’s tastes such as chocolate chip cookies, chocolate brownies or sugar cookies. Finally, attach a tag you have either made yourself or which contains a personal message.

Takeout boxes and bags can be filled with numerous decorated sugar cookies, but it is best to ensure you do not place them in the sun, otherwise your cookies run the risk of melting.

Other Ideas for packaging cookies for wedding favors can include miniature baskets. Purchase baskets in bulk online or at your local craft store. Fill them with decorative tissue paper and shredded filler paper. Stuff baskets with pre-packaged decorated sugar cookies, assorted cookies and even brownies. Throw in teas, drink mixes or even coffee brews to give an additional special touch to each basket. Finish the baskets off by wrapping them in cellophane. Include a note in the basket to your guests letting them know what each basket contains, but also a personalized thank you message.
